The Me140 nebulizer head is used as a spare replacement part and needs to be replaced after a certain period of time. As the ME140 inhaler uses mesh technology to generate aerosol, the mesh must be properly maintained. If the spray head is cleaned as instructed, it will have a longer life, so regular cleaning is recommended. Purchasing a new spray head makes the inhaler the same as new.
The most important thing with the ME140 is to clean the spray head properly. Here is a brief summary of how to clean the spray head properly:
1. immerse it completely in 70% alcohol for 5-10min
2. dry the head and place it on the inhaler
3. dispense distilled water into the head and turn the inhaler on to spray for at least a few minutes.
When you buy a new spray head, order exactly the same one, otherwise the inhaler will not work. Please see the pictures above before ordering.
