Personal data protection The owner and data collector of the online shop is Medikoel d.o.o., Jalnova cesta 2, 4240 Radovljica. Medikoel d.o.o. is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the online shop and to ensuring optimal technological support for this security. Your order (contract) is written in Slovenian and will be kept by Medikoel d.o.o. in written and electronic form and treated as a business secret. The transmission of all personal data is protected by a secure SSL protocol.

Consent

By using the medikoel.com online shop, the user agrees to the data use methods described in the personal data collection declaration. By registering with medikoel.com, the user authorises medikoel d.o.o. as the controller of the personal data collection to process all data provided by the user and data about the content of the user’s purchases in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1). Medikoel d.o.o. guarantees that it protects the personal data of the users of the medikoel.com online shop and all other data collected during the registration process from disclosure and transmission to third parties. Collection of personal data

To shop at medikoel.com, users can log in with a username and password. You can only log in with a username and password after you have registered and entered your email address and password in the registration form. Other details such as first name, last name, delivery addresses, payment address and any legal entity details are only entered during the order process. Medikoel may also automatically collect some information about your computer’s hardware and software. This information includes: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and the addresses of the websites you have visited on our online shop. The provider uses this information solely for the purpose of calculating general statistics about the use of the medikoel.com webshop and optimising it. All personal data collected will be protected by the data controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), other legislation and regulations. The personal data collected will be processed only for the performance of the contract concluded or the product or service ordered and for the purposes for which the data subject has given his/her explicit consent.

The User may change his/her personal data, delivery address and payment address at any time. To do this, log in to the online shop and select My Account. Use of personal data The Provider collects data on the online shop in order to ensure the proper functioning of the online shop and to provide the requested services. The Provider (Medikoel d.o.o.) will not disclose the User’s personal data to any third party without the User’s consent, except where necessary to comply with the legal obligations imposed on Medikoel d.o.o.. Consumer’s right of withdrawal

The consumer (this applies only to natural persons who acquire the goods for purposes outside their own gainful activity) has the right to notify the seller within 14 days of taking delivery of the goods** that he/she is withdrawing from the contract, without having to give a reason for his/her decision. Invoicing

Medikoel d.o.o. will send an invoice in writing to the Buyer’s address upon delivery of the ordered items to the Buyer. In the case of personal collection at the collection point, the customer will receive a printed invoice for the purchased items upon collection. The invoice breaks down the price and all costs related to the purchase. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information before placing an order. We do not take into account any subsequent complaints about the correctness of the invoices.

After-sales services

Medikoel d.o.o. offers a warranty in accordance with the warranty statements that accompany the products. The company does not offer an additional or voluntary guarantee.

Costs related to the use of a telecommunications asset

Calls to the telephone number (+386 4 537 85 10) are charged to the consumer only at the basic rate charged by the telecoms operator.

Complaints and disputes

The Provider complies with applicable consumer protection legislation. – In case of complaints, disputes, problems, the buyer can contact the provider by phone 080 81 33 or 04 5378 510, or by e-mail at [email protected]. The complaint should be submitted by email to [email protected]. The complaint procedure is confidential. – For the cases of delivery claim, warranty claim, material defect claim, you can find information and detailed guidance on the complaint procedure itself on the website www.medikoel.com, at the bottom/foot of the website. – The Provider shall respond to all complaints by email or telephone as soon as possible and within the limits of the legal obligations depending on the type of complaint. – The Provider is aware that an essential feature of consumer litigation, at least as far as judicial settlement is concerned, is the disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in settling the dispute itself. This is also a major obstacle to consumers bringing a dispute before the courts. Therefore, the Provider shall use its best endeavours to resolve any disputes amicably. – If the dispute cannot be resolved, the court of the consumer’s domicile has jurisdiction. – 14. 11. 2015, the Act on Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes (Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 81/2015, hereinafter the “ZIsRPS”) entered into force. The IRPS Act regulates the out-of-court settlement of domestic and cross-border disputes between businesses and consumers through an out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider (hereinafter: IRPS provider).

In accordance with the legal norms, the Provider does not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as competent to resolve a consumer dispute that a consumer may bring under the Act on the Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes.
