The Propo Steam Vaporizer is a leading product for relieving respiratory system problems, cleaning and disinfecting the air and making the room smell pleasant. Whether you use it with ready-made propolis active ingredient or with a blend of ingredients that are beneficial for respiratory conditions, Propo Steam is ideal for use at home or at the apitherapy clinic. Due to its high quality workmanship, superior features and ease of use have made it an indispensable tool in the homes of many families and also apitherapists.

With Propostema, you can bring a part of the hive into your space and clean it – propolis has the ability to clean microbes, organic solvents and floating particles from the air. It is antibacterocidal and cytostatic. Alternatively, you can connect a hose and mask to the Proposteam and inhale the vapour. Everything you need to know about PropoSteam can be found in this brochure.

How does Proposteam work?

The Proposteam apitherapeutic device allows you to benefit from the positive properties of propolis by inhaling the propolis vapour. Proposteam is used to heat raw propolis in tablet form to 82 degrees, evaporating the propolis essential oil. It is a vapour containing 12% propolis essential oils. The device uses raw propolis obtained from a local beekeeper or propolis from our own range, which is made and compressed into tablets just for use with Propo Steam. Propolis is not included and must be purchased:

For general use – contains propolis

For the lower respiratory tract – beeswax and pollen are added to propolis

For the upper respiratory tract – beeswax, pollen and peppermint are added to propolis

If you would like to try all three and ensure you have enough, we recommend a pack of three Propo Tab Propolis tablets, which means 18 tablets (10% cheaper). This amount is enough for 90 days of use (one propolis tablet lasts for 5 days). You can also use any other mixture of ingredients that are beneficial for respiratory conditions.

The power of propolis and its therapeutic potential

Propolis is an exceptional bee crop, made by bee colonies to maintain the health of the hive, and acts as a disinfectant to protect the colony from infections and diseases. Propolis is a medicinal substance that has many positive effects on the human body, but when inhaled it is particularly good for respiratory and respiratory system problems.

Our ancestors already knew about the wide-ranging therapeutic potential of propolis. The remarkable strength of propolis is demonstrated by its complex composition, which includes 149 different organic and 22 inorganic substances. It consists mainly of plant resins, wax, essential oils, pollen, flavonoids, vitamins (B1, B2, B6, C, E) and minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, copper, zinc, manganese, iron). It also contains antibiotic compounds and aromatic organic acids. All this gives propolis outstanding antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is anti-inflammatory, anaesthetic, effective against fungal infections and stimulates the immune system. Several scientific studies have confirmed that it prevents microbial growth, inhibits osteogenesis, regenerates tissue and stimulates the action of certain enzymes.
