Inhalation of aerosol from the hive
With the API AEROSOL II kit, hive air inhalation or hive air release can be performed successfully and in a controlled manner.
There is much more to a beehive and the air inside it than was first known. Among other things, bees create aerosols that are very beneficial to humans through their movement and work in the hive. A growing body of research confirms the positive effects of inhaling hive air on the whole organism, in particular the alleviation of symptoms of impaired respiratory function. The volatile substances in hive air have antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, which is why aerosol therapy from the hive is gaining popularity. What do we need to breathe in the beneficial air from the hive?
You need an Api aeorosol 2, which contains a special hive attachment to which you attach the hose and the mask or mouthpiece. The Api Aerosol 2 is the most sophisticated version of the hive aerosol therapy machine, as it automatically pulls the hive air through the hose to the user (no free pulling required) using a built-in fan. The aerosol flow rate is significantly higher than for Api aeorosol 1 and Api aerosol 1 Plus.
How does API AEROSOL II, the aerosol therapy machine for the hive, work?
230V power adapter included. Alternatively, the set can be connected to a 12 V battery or to a special API-SUPPLY power bank unit.
The API AEROSOL II is equipped with a pump-push element, which has 5 stages and allows to regulate the flow of aerosol coming through the hive hose to the user. During times of abundant brood and consequently higher hive air (May, June, July), the second and third stages are used. During the low grazing season, the fourth and fifth levels are used. Each stage is calibrated to a specific aerosol flow rate:
fifth stage 12 l/min
fourth stage 8 l/min
third stage 6 l/min
second stage 4 l/min
first stage 3 l/min.
